The Honour Project was founded on the belief that no one person should live a life of consistent struggle or 'just getting by'. We offer self-help tools, books and inspiration for mental health, self-healing, wellness, authentic living and more. The Honour Project stands to normalise the human condition, one that encompasses a range of experiences, including: negative emotions, bad days, poor mental health, confusion, challenge and inner turmoil. We emphasise the integral role of empowerment throughout the healing journey, not as a means of invalidating struggle or hardship but as a way of honouring the capacity we each posses to forge a new way. We also promote compassionate connection, both as a community in standing together in acceptance and love and as individuals in compassionately accepting and re-connecting with ourselves. Overall, we support people to recognise and employ their personal powers as a means of forging positive growth and change. Life can be really difficult sometimes, it is also really beautiful. We want you to live to your full potential and thrive.
“Wholeness is not achieved by cutting off a portion of one's being, but by integration of the contraries.”
Our approach to health and wellness is both eclectic and holistic, deriving inspiration and knowledge from a diverse range of sources - psychological evidence based science, western and eastern medicine, the natural world, ancient and modern philosophy, spirituality, metaphysics and alternative and complementary therapies. We recognise the self as a whole - the physical, emotional, mental and energetic bodies being not separate parts but interconnected as one. In sum, our approach is founded on the principles of positive psychology, the aim being to achieve optimal human flourishing and improvement in overall functioning, wellbeing and quality of life.
"As many times as you need to start over, to reinvent yourself, to reaffirm your power - do so. This capacity never leaves you."
